Third Eye | Hummingbird | Mustard
I Am Grateful For What Is.
Hummingbird flutters into your awareness when you are being invited to make things “new” again. Have you been feeling bored or uninterested in your current life story? Sometimes we forget that nothing stays the same and we begin to see through a dull, monotonous lens. Hummingbird reminds you that everything in your life today was created by a past version of yourself. The secret to creating your best future is in having gratitude for your current reality right now! Notice the small things that provide you comfort, the beautiful subtleties of the changing seasons, the gift of your senses, the sunsets, the birds, the laughter of a child…we bring everything to life by truly seeing it!
Hummingbird invites you to taste the sweet nectar of feeling renewed. Maybe a different haircut or some fresh flowers on your table will do, or maybe it is time for a bigger change! Have you stopped noticing or appreciating something? Shift your perspective and watch it become new again. Remember, we can only step into the same river once, so even if everything looks the same, trust that it is always changing.
If your head hurts and your third eye is over-loaded, you may be feeling a sense of deep gloom or depression that isn’t yours. You possibly are psychically taking on other peoples’ thoughts and confusing them for your own. The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.* Hummingbird will help you bring an attitude of gratitude back into your life. See with new eyes and be grateful for what is.

Action Steps:
Do you paint an old feeling onto your current life? This can lead to gloom and sadness. Try changing up your day and routine.
Make a gratitude list in your mind or on paper. Find 5 things to be grateful for each morning or evening before bed.
Do you find that you see the “glass half empty” or focus on the negative often? Practice seeing what is there rather than what is missing.
Rearrange your furniture, paint a room, clean and/or redecorate your home.
Reinvent your style and make changes to your wardrobe. Resale shops are a less expensive way to make fun changes.
Clear the clutter in your third eye with silent meditation.
Do you suffer from chronic headaches and migraines? Research ways to clear your third eye through natural healing with herbs, crystals, bodywork techniques, etc. Trust what you are guided to.
Practice really seeing something through noticing details. Remember things come to life through being seen.
Notice how often you psychically dive into people and limit it to only when needed. Let intuitions come to you naturally without probing into things.
Do you psychically pick up on everyone’s thoughts? Practice asking your higher self to shield you from people’s thoughts and see how different your experience is.
Do you struggle with depression or deep gloom that comes out of nowhere? Research holistic trauma therapies and try a Reiki session.
Notice if you often take on other people’s feelings in your third eye. Use a pendulum to ask your higher self “is this mine”” when you are experiencing symptoms.
Try a Neti Pot to clear your sinuses.
If you are feeling stuck, pray “to see with new eyes” and observe what shifts in the next couple of days.
Meditate and journal about your 10-year old-self and your 20-year-old self. Did you experience a level of sadness or depression? Let the memories of those years surface to find clues.
Try the yogic practice of Trataka. Sit in a meditative state and gaze at a single candle flame for a period of time. Gazing meditations improve eyesight, memory and recall, as well as cleansing the cerebral cortex, helping to decrease anxiety, relieve depression, and promote deeper, more relaxed sleep.
Do you feel psychic? Contemplate how much you see in your third eye and how much you absorb of others. Notice if you get headaches around certain people or situations.
