I Get Out of My Head and Into My Heart.

Elephant brings a steady message to surrender your need to control things right now and get back into the purity of the heart. Are you feeling a bit obsessive-compulsive lately? Maybe you’ve found yourself making up stories in your head and believing them to be true? This is a gentle reminder to get out of your head and into your heart. When we get lost in our imagination and disconnected from our grounded heart center we can be led down a misleading road of fairy tales or made-up stories.

Have you been feeling paranoid or suspicious? Elephant is reminding you to exercise balanced self-control. Step away and take a moment with yourself when you are triggered so you can respond from a neutral place rather than an irrational or overly-emotional place. Making assumptions while emotionally triggered always leads to more confusion and upset. Maybe you are feeling projected upon or psychically attacked? When love predominates, fear cannot prevail. Avoid any vilifying or demon-eyes-ing. Elephant brings you back to your heart through self-love to strengthen your natural shield of protection from projection.

Action Steps:

  1. Practice the Ho’Oponopono prayer to yourself daily: I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.

  2. Contemplate if one of your parents used manipulation or lies to control you. Or maybe they just didn’t follow through on promises? Journal around how this pattern has shown up in your adult life.

  3. We can easily lie to ourself if we’ve been lied to in our past. Sit in a quiet space and be honest about what you’ve been avoiding looking at.

  4. Spend some time with your 15 year old self. Reflect/journal around ways you felt out-of-control.

  5. Is someone psychically manipulating you? Take space, get into your heart, and pray for clarity and guidance.

  6. Notice when you gas-light yourself with negativity, ie: “I’m so stupid, I never do anything right,” and change your self-talk to positive affirmations and loving words. Keep practicing this.

  7. Contemplate if you make up negative stories of what you think people think of you and then believe your made-up stories.

  8. Burn sage or palo santo, or diffuse frankincense to clear negative energy around you and your space.

  9. Notice if you use sarcasm to control others. Remember sarcasm is truth cloaked in humor.

  10. Do you call yourself crazy or fear others are calling you crazy? That is the moment to take a deep breath and get out of your head and into your heart.

  11. Exercise of any kind will help ground you into your body. A walk in nature daily will help get you out of your head.

  12. Are you paranoid in relationships? Do you psychically feel into your partner and make up stories or make assumptions? Contemplate and journal around the origin of your paranoia.

  13. Are you struggling with obsessive-compulsive behavior? Without changing anything, just start noticing the thoughts and feelings around it. Adding love rather than judgement gives space for healing the behavior.

  14. Research other natural ways to protect yourself such as wearing the stone Shungite.

  15. Are you hyper-afraid of sounding stupid? Contemplate when this pattern started.

  16. Remember that you are the most protected when you stay within the frequency of love. Take time away to get back into the balanced heart.
